Homepage of the new www.killybegs.ie website being launched today

 

The Cathaoirleach Councillor John Campbell and Chief Executive of Donegal County Council, Seamus Neely will host the launch of the new www.killybegs.ie website, Facebook page and presentation folder in the Bay View Hotel, Killybegs today Friday 6th February. Representatives from Killybegs Information Centre, Donegal County Council and Donegal Tourism Ltd along with Donegal County Councillors and the local community will come together to launch this new project designed to promote Killybegs and surrounding areas along the Wild Atlantic Way.

 

 Cathaoirleach, Cllr John Campbell is looking forward to the launch and commented that “Donegal County Council’s dedication to the promotion and diversification of tourism in Killybegs is evident with the launch of this new website and presentation folder. More work will be done to continue to build on these excellent foundations and develop tourism over the coming months. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for the community with a newly rejuvenated tourism product that will grow in conjunction the Wild Atlantic Way.

 

New Website and Facebook Page for Killybegs

The latest online technology is constantly changing and offers powerful tools for the promotion of tourism.  The Killybegs Information Centre team have embraced a positive digital future with the launch of their new website www.killybegs.ie and blog in partnership with Donegal County Council. A good website is the hub of successful online marketing campaigns. It is vital to have a modern fresh design coupled with the latest social and search functionality to provide a seamless efficient user journey that generates results. This new Killybegs Tourism website delivers on all fronts. The website provides direct link to the ‘Killybegs Tourism’ Facebook page with all the latest updates on cruise arrivals and tourism activities in Killybegs and surrounds.

 

Killybegs Presentation Folders for Professional Literature

The latest Killybegs presentation folder due for launch tomorrow was created to compliment the branding of the website and was designed and produced by Letterkenny based company Browne Printers www.browneprinters.com. The presentation folder will hold flyers, maps and other literature promoting tourism in the area to both cruise visitors and day trippers. The folder features information on local attractions and activities, a map of Donegal on the Wild Atlantic Way and contact information for Killybegs Information Centre should visitors require assistance.

 

Chief Executive of Donegal County Council, Seamus Neely said that “the new website & Facebook page will help put Killybegs and the surrounding area on the map in terms of the Wild Atlantic Way and the presentation folders will allow the team at Killybegs Information Centre to present a wealth of local knowledge to visitors in a professional and informative way, this is an important step in the continued development of tourism in Killybegs”.
